I am discouraging Filipinos who are planning to go to Dubai or any part of UAE on visit visa for various reasons:
1. It's too hard to find a job, because of too much inflock of visit visa holders looking for job from various countries, esp. Indians and Filipinos, Russians, nearby arabic countries, etc.
2. Salary offers are now very low, an accountant can only receive an offer of 1,500 - 2,000 Dhs. Sales Ladies from 800 to 1,000 Dhs.
3. Expenses are at its height. Prices of food, transpo, accommodation, computer rental, xerox, etc are soaring.
4. Abu Dhabi is now experiencing downturn in businesses.
5. Almost everybody had to exit to Kish for how many times as they cant find job within the life of their first two months visit visa.
These, and other struggles that you may experience here.
So please don't come any more unless you are assured of a job as soon as you land UAE.
